            In today’s fast-moving Bangkok, the center of advanced technology and industrial area, the way of people’s lives, as well as the city’s images, has been drastically changing that local residents are not fully aware of the effects of modernization Bangkok is offering as they hide themselves under the mask of beauty.

I bring together various industrial materials that have been used, broken, and rusty to reflect the artist’s feeling and perception towards today’s Bangkok society, environment, and construction. The materials are representing the changes in modern society which used to be new and make people’s life more comfortable, but after a few years they become old and useless.

“Urban Motion” presents another view of Bangkok in the gallery situated right in the heart of Bangkok’s most developed area. Therefore artwork in the exhibition is like another view of a city reflecting the contrast of the environment outside the house.

                ในสังคมสมัยใหม่ที่อุดมไปด้วยเทคโนโลยีและความก้าวหน้าทางอุตสาหกรรม ทุกสิ่งทุกอย่าง
เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลง หมุนเวียนไปอย่างรวดเร็ว จนผู้คนไม่ทันได้ตระหนักและรับรู้ถึงผลกระทบที่เกิดขึ้น
ภายใต้ภาพลักษณ์ที่สวยงาม เรื่องราวเหล่านี้นำมาซึ่งแรงบันดาลใจและความรู้สึกของผมที่มีต่อเมือง
ชีวิตในเมือง และสภาพแวดล้อม

ผมใช้วัสดุอันเป็นผลผลิตจากโลกอุตสาหกรรมและเกี่ยวข้องกับวิถีชีวิตของผู้คน ที่ผุพัง ขึ้นสนิม
มาประกอบและเชื่อมโยงกันเป็นผลงานสื่อผสมเพื่อแทนค่าความเป็นไปของสังคมเมือง  
ครั้งหนึ่งวัสดุเหล่านี้เคยนำมาซึ่งความสะดวกสบาย ทันสมัย แต่เมื่อวันเวลาผ่านไปผ่านการใช้งาน
ย่อมกลายสภาพเป็นของเก่าที่ไม่มีใครต้องการเหมือนวัฏจักรของเมืองที่วันหนึ่งสวยงามแต่กาลเวลา
จะทำให้สิ่งที่เคยน่าชื่นชมแปรเปลี่ยนเป็นซากปรักหักพัง ล้าสมัยเป็นอนุสรณ์ความเจริญของยุคสมัยหนึ่ง

นิทรรศการครั้งนี้ นำเสนอมุมมองของศิลปินผ่านพื้นที่ของหอศิลป์ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ในใจกลางสยามสแควร์
อันเป็นศูนย์กลางการพัฒนาที่สำคัญอีกแห่งหนึ่งของกรุงเทพมหานครในปัจจุบันผลงานในนิทรรศการ
จึงเปรียบเสมือนมุมมองหนึ่งของเมืองที่ซ้อนทับและขัดแย้งกับสิ่งแวดล้อมแห่งความเจริญภายนอก
